I am a Black Guyanese woman. I'm thirty nine years old. I went back to college to take Early Childhood Education classes. I want to get a second 48-credit BA degree in Early Childhood Education by 2021. I go to NJCU. I have a BA in Creative Writing from NJCU. I graduated from NJCU in August 2015. I transferred to NJCU from Mercer. I have my AA degree from Mercer in Humanities and Social Science since May 2007. I write poems, I write memoirs, I'm a blogger and I am taking a children's lit course. I love reading memoirs. I also do book reviews from time to time. My favorite poet is Emily Dickinson. I grew up in Ewing, New Jersey. I live in Princeton Junction with my parents!

My ears feel like they could bleed.

My voices are mean at night but give me an occasional compliment.

I know there is something to the universe and that there are unseen forces at work on my behalf. I have achieved so many of the goals I set that I really like where I am in life. I’m still working on a second Bachelor’s degree. I am going to take the Praxis Core next Saturday.

I love that I have the opportunity to give back to my alma mater.

Mercer gave me my first good experience on a job.

I’m a cat person. I’ve never liked dogs.

I wish I’d never smoked. Cigarettes cause lung cancer and heart disease.

I lost over 30 pounds.

I don’t eat after 10 pm and I snack on Kar’s snacks.

I got a relaxer yesterday.

I bought a Vince Camuto scarf in the coffee choice.
