Empathy is important. I have really been blessed with so many opportunities despite my mental illness. My job as a Mentor at Mercer gives me so much purpose in life. I find working with the DREAM students at Mercer gives meaning to my life. I look forward to going to work. I am going back to work in August or September. I love connecting with people and finding things we have in common with blogging or writing poetry.
I always try to be helpful to other people who are dealing with things that I know are hard.
