I don’t think the psychiatrist is right about my illness. I’m a person that may have some challenges but they are few. There are so many things I can do and have done that I always remind myself that I’m cool. If I have a mental illness that doesn’t make me any less of a person. I wrote a schizophrenia memoir. That’s cool!
My diagnosis doesn’t define me.
I am a Black Guyanese woman. I'm thirty nine years old. I went back to college to take Early Childhood Education classes. I transferred to NJCU from Mercer. I have my AA degree from Mercer in Humanities and Social Science since May 2007.
