I never knew of something I enjoyed and felt it made my life richer besides writing. I love to write. Memoir writing is my favorite sitting at home writing memoirs lights up my life. I am a non-smoker but I lit up for 20 years. I would light a cigarette every 30 minutes. I lit up for sadness and for happiness. I just lit up non-stop. Cigarette addiction was ruining my life. I always had this urge to smoke. It was so strong Chantix was the only drug that saved me from ruining my life. Nic-A also is a resource I go but only when a friend takes me about once a month. I pray to stay smoke-free. I haven’t had one cig in over four years. No one knows how happy I am that I was nominated by Stuart for the Awesome Blogger Award. A big thanks also to all of the blogs following my blog. Thank you now I feel less lonely and more connected than before!

I am a Black Guyanese woman. I'm thirty nine years old. I went back to college to take Early Childhood Education classes. I want to get a second 48-credit BA degree in Early Childhood Education by 2021. I go to NJCU. I have a BA in Creative Writing from NJCU. I graduated from NJCU in August 2015. I transferred to NJCU from Mercer. I have my AA degree from Mercer in Humanities and Social Science since May 2007. I write poems, I write memoirs, I'm a blogger and I am taking a children's lit course. I love reading memoirs. I also do book reviews from time to time. My favorite poet is Emily Dickinson.
