I believe in heaven. I believe my life will get better. Today was a good day.
I love being a Black creative.
Creativity is awesome.
Children and teenagers need to find their voices when they are victims of bullying.
I was a bullied kid but I am not bitter. I graduated from college at age 34 and I am taking the Praxis Core this summer.
I am not angry about the past.
I want to enjoy today. How about you?
The Namesake is a book by a popular Indian woman author.
I also know she has a book called The Interpreter of Maladies but I have not read that book.

My diagnosis doesn’t define me.
I don’t think the psychiatrist is right about my illness. I’m a person that may have some challenges but they are few. There are so many things I can do and have done that I always remind myself that I’m cool. If I have a mental illness that doesn’t make me any less of a person. I wrote a schizophrenia memoir. That’s cool!
To all of the bloggers following my blog.
I want to say thank you for following my blog and I’m following you guys blogs too! Thank you for supporting me and my blog.
I always try to be helpful to other people who are dealing with things that I know are hard.
Empathy is important. I have really been blessed with so many opportunities despite my mental illness. My job as a Mentor at Mercer gives me so much purpose in life. I find working with the DREAM students at Mercer gives meaning to my life. I look forward to going to work. I am going back to work in August or September. I love connecting with people and finding things we have in common with blogging or writing poetry.
I like different kinds of music.
I like different kinds of music. I remember liking Enya’s music when I first heard Only Time back in the early 2000s. Enya has a unique sound that is so nice. I like some country western songs too. I find myself liking Shania Twain too. Any kind of music is good if it’s good music. I love the radio.
